From human resources and labor law updates, to sanitation protocols and pandemic loan opportunities, the foundation has partnered with the Palo Alto Chamber in providing resources to struggling businesses, especially to the nonprofit sector that serves those most in need.
To provide opportunities for representatives of all sectors of the community to come together and celebrate the best aspects of our community, the Foundation partners with the Chamber in producing the most historic and unique signature event in our community. The Tall Tree Awards are given annually to individuals and organizations that have shown exceptional civic contributions and service to the community. From time to time, a special Global Impact Award is given to a person or business whose contributions have been felt around the world. All proceeds from this signature annual event support the leadership and community service programs of the Chamber Foundation, especially providing scholarships for deserving applicants to the Leadership Palo Alto program. Routinely there are half a dozen outstanding applicants who are unable to pay the annual tuition without this critical financial support.
